Survivor Blood versus Water…Let the Competition Begin

Last night was a big night for Reality TV fans with the finale of Big Brother following the premier of Survivor.  I had to stay up all the way to 11:00 p.m.!  Looking back, I guess I have to give props to Andy.  He played the game he wanted to and it got him the win.  Of course, it comes as no surprise that Elissa was able to pull off America’s Favorite Player.  Did you take a look at Spencer’s face when it was announced?  Teehee.

Okay, so on to Survivor.  We have two tribes…one with the newbies and one with the returning Survivors.  Thus, blood versus water…right?  Jeff surprises everyone, yep even me, by announcing that each tribe must immediately vote off one of their players.  They don’t show the tribes getting a chance to discuss this.  I don’t know if they had a chance or not, but the newbies seemed to be in consensus when they voted off Rupert’s wife Laura.  The returning players votes are split between Candace, Laura and Gervase.  Candace is voted off.  Jeff announces that the voted off players are heading to Redemption Island which is back in the mix this season.  Okay, move on right?  Nope!  Jeff then announces that their “partner” can switch places with the voted off contestant.  Rupert immediately takes Laura’s place.  Candace’s husband stays in the game, sending Candace to Redemption Island.

The returning contestants are very upset to lose Rupert and gain his wife Laura.  I think he made a huge mistake.  As soon as that tribe goes to tribal, I think Laura will be off to RI.

As you can easily predict, the returning Survivors have no difficulty setting up their camp.  Fire started, shelter built and food cooked.  The newbies are not having such good luck.  They can’t manage to start a fire.  Here’s my question.  If you were going to be on Survivor, what is the first thing you would Google?  I know I would learn to start a fire, make a shelter, memorize which nature products help with what, etc.  It’s hard to imagine that not one of them could start a fire, isn’t it?

The newbies tribe is made up of mostly athletic and young contestants.  They have five healthy, strapping men who, btw, form an immediate alliance.  The returning Survivors are mostly older, but of course they have had the experience prior.  I thought the newbies would sail through their first competition.  Well, they almost did.  Evidently, puzzles are going to be a problem for them.  It was also evident that Gervase is going to be a problem in general.  He can’t swim.  He’s out of shape.  He’s a big mouth.  Maybe Rupert’s Laura has half a chance after all!

The returning players tribe (Galang) has a very hard time getting to the puzzle section of the comp, but once there, they rule.  I guess having done puzzles prior makes the difference.  The newbies (Tadhana) will be the first tribe to go to tribal council.

Discussion at camp Tadhana consists of which of the gals will be voted off since the guys hold all the power.  High on the list is Katie.  She was one of the puzzle do-ers and she was useless at that task.  However, the other contestant being considered is Marissa.  Why, you ask?  Yep, because her Uncle Gervase celebrated too much when they won the competition.  Different dynamics in this Survivor!  You need to think before you act for sure.

Marissa is voted off to send a clear message to Gervase and the rest of the Galang tribe that the newbies are serious.  One good thing about going to tribal is that they have their torches lit and therefore get to take fire back to camp.

I guess this blog wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t mention Colton, right?  Colton swears that he’s a different guy this time around.  He breaks down in tears (alright often) while explaining how difficult it is to grow-up in the South gay.  I do feel for him on this one.  So far he’s been pretty quiet and he has also apologized to Monica Culpepper for his actions in the prior Survivor game.  She isn’t totally convinced that Colton has changed.  Actions are always more convincing than words.

Over on Redemption Island, Candace is doing all the work.  She’s annoyed at Rupert, but letting him get away with it.  Why, I wonder? If it were me, I’d tell him to go find his own fruit, etc.  She doesn’t owe him anything.  Rupert’s plan is to conserve all his energy to play in the competition to remain on RI.  The first Redemption Island competition will be between Rupert, Candace and Marissa.

My vote for biggest PIA is Brad Culpepper.  He’s very full of himself.  My husband says he doesn’t even remember him playing in the NFL.  Evidently, he wasn’t a star player.  By attempting to take control of everything, he should be placing a big target on his back.  I guess it depends on how quickly he pisses off or annoys the other guys on his tribe.

That’s it for this week.  I’m very glad to be back.  I’ve missed my friends here at Survivor and also over at BB.  I was away all last week so I wasn’t able to approve comments.  As always, your very first comment must be approved.  After that first is approved, you are good to go!  I should be able to stop over there at least once a day to make sure comments are approved quickly.  See you next week….Bloggergal

    • Hey Holly…good to see you made it here. This is going to be a good year. I like the blood V water but I think there have already been so many screw ups. I’m sure things will come back to bite them in the rear. I just finished watching it. I already have some favs…. Too bad we can’t take our favs and make a team. It seems like every year, there are a few you love to hate. I hope they take Colton out real soon….his voice irks me.

    • Hey Jane….funny you should say that, because I was thinking the same thing. He kept telling me to hurry and save a space so he could send me a request, since I have so many games going….so when I did finally have an opening, I let him know. He sent one word over that night….I returned a word back and I haven’t seen another one since. I guess he’s afraid of losing to me after all the talk that he would beat me. I’m waiting to kick his booty!

I hope you finally wore your son out last night and was able to get some rest. See ya on the flip side. ;)

    • Lol not scared of Ted. But wish his vocabulary would extend past the, or. & and! your move Ted! Whatcha gonna spell boy? Whatcha gonna spell?

    • This is just hilarious… Ask these two ‘ladies’ who is ahead in there respective games. As of right now… it’s Ted 124 – Fran 72 & Ted 242 – Jane 191. If any of my new friends here play Words With Friends… I really need a challenge… even Holly might do better than my present challengers.

    • Excuse me Ted, but that’s so easy to say that you are ahead of me by that much, considering you have had one extra turn more than me. Stop stroking yourself Ted….the game is early since I have only sent over two words and you three. Plus dear, I have no freakin’ vowels, so look out once I get some decent letters.

It is a long way from being over, and as they say, ‘It isn’t over till the fat lady sings.’

  1. I love Hayden and am glad he is on Survivor. Unsure how he will do roughing it. Wish there was 24 hour uncensored feeds like Big Brother!

    • I agree with you Holly, but I think there will be a big target on his back….just because of who his bf is. At least he isn’t a whiner, like Colton.

    • I’ll finally get a chance to watch Survivor tomorrow. How could someone change his stripes so dramatically? Didn’t like that little squirrel and prolly won’t like him this time either. Bleh

    • @Star it doesn’t last long check out next weeks previews… Colton said he’s tired of being Mr. Nice Guy… Really it’s only been a week lol!

  2. Gosh that Brad he is sure making himself big boss man
    He annoys me
Colton is a suck and I like his bf better
Poor Marrisa SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR HER UNCLES BEHAVIOR”she was the first to point out what a show off he was
    at the win

    Anyway glad you are back

  3. Great to see you Bloggergal! Looks like the is going to be a good season..I did miss the first 1/2 hour of the show… napping  Thanks for filling me in, I will watch what I missed because I taped it! See you soon …….

  4. I am sick of Rupert, his voice is hard to listen too and his wife seems to wear the pants. if Rupert had let her go to Redemption she probably would had divorced him.

In the beginning she seemed bitter about Rupert having so much attention from ‘Survivor,’ then she gets voted off! ha! Only to have Rupert respond with a yes dear.

Rupert needs to go, he’s a ‘has been’ in this name, enough of him!

  5. Enjoy your blog each season. As far as Colton being quiet so far, I guess you missed the captions on the bottom of the screen during the immunity challenge when he was rowing. He told a teammate to shut up or he would hit him with the _________ paddle. He is out of control in so many ways and I don’t expect to see him around for long. Marissa got a raw deal.

  6. Ô¿Ô on September 18, 2013 at 11:17 pm said:

OK, what the hell was Rupert thinking? The couples twist is gonna hurt a lot of people because of the way their partner plays. Spite or worry about what the partner does may send them packing. Not to be racist but Marissa sort of showed one of those bitchy attitudes about being evicted. This going to be a tuff season.
I think Colton is a tiger who won’t change his stripes. He is a vindictive, gay redneck!
I like Culpepper if he can keep his mouth shut! He doesn’t need to go the leader roll!
Gervace is in trouble in the water.
Those immediate evictions were done to put people in Redemption Island! Rupert changing places with his wife was a bozo move IMVHO!
……. Let me think a bit so some more things come to my mind

    • Yes it is. You can always find it by clicking on the “next” button at the top. When there is no more next button then you are in the last page. Does that help?

  7. Unfortunately Colton will be around for awhile I’m sure. He hasn’t changed and according to the previews for next week will be up to his old tricks next episode. Brad Culpepper played Nose Tackle for the Bucs, Bears, and Vikings. He’s now a lawyer in Tampa practicing personal injury. I live in Tampa so I see his commercials all the time.

    • Sorry Keith, I did not see this when I was writing my comment below. Timing can be everything I guess.

  8. Someone on the other page said they had never heard of Brad Culpepper as far as a football career. I had heard the name but not a whole lot about him and neither had my family heard of him. Here is the information: “Culpepper was a tenth round selection (264th overall pick) in the 1992 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings,[11] and he played for the Vikings from 1992 to 1993,[12] the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1994 to 1999,[13] and the Chicago Bears in 2000.[14] In his nine-year professional career, Culpepper played in 131 games, started eighty-three of them,[1] and recorded thirty-four quarterback sacks and one safety.”

FYI – He is now a trial lawyer which might explain why he acts so “in charge.”

  9. hay Guys, and WELCOME back, wooohooo, love me some survivor. AND i think its awsome they have given an XCON a chance to play. PEOPLE need to know XCONS, (WELL SOME OF THEM) are worth saving. I for one hope he does well. SORRY, i don’t have all the names set in my mind yet. WELL except for a few of the OLDIES.. AS for the newbies, yes the one taking the lead gets on my nerves also. COLTON,,, in the row boat, did get fairly ugly. same ole same ol. , I think Survivor may have gone to Ruperts head. People can fall out of love with him as quick as they fell FOR him. Have a great evening and blessings from Central MS.

  10. I am afraid Hayden will be voted out early because of his BB win. Maybe if he just keeps flashing that smile (careful not to make the gf mad)

    • Hayden should be okay. He’s got a good personality and he’s atheltic enough that he will definitely be viewed as being an asset as far as immunity and reward challenges are concerned. Plus, Big Brother is a different game from Survivor.

I do think Aras and Tina will have big targets on their backs because they’ve both won Survivor in the past. If I remember correctly, Tina didn’t last very long when they did the first All-Stars. I have to admit that I don’t remember much about Aras’s first season, beyond the fact that Aras was the hottest guy on the island and I think that was the first season that they introduced the whole immunity idol thing.

    • I thought Elissa accidentally said how Hayden did on Survivor early in the BB season. I remember being mad for knowing how Hayden did.

    • I won’t Holly! did you see his chocolate milk mustache??? I would have found it annoying and humorous but the fact that it takes the focus off him it having a top lip makes me ecstatic!!

  11. Nice write up Bloggergal! I do agree with you about Brad. I think his wife gave him some bad advice…hmmm, wonder if that was on purpose!! He should have kept his mouth shut when Jeff was explaining the rules and also should have waited to see if someone would approach him to join an alliance. He already has a big target on his back being a former NFL player. His idea of getting rid of the women first was crazy, after all we are dealing with loved ones here!! I think this season’s evictions should be totally based on the players performance. This way, when the tribes merge, they will all have legitimate reasons for voting out someone’s loved one. I am still upset that Katie did not go to RI. Sure it was wrong for Gervase celebrating the win, but that was no reason to vote Marissa out.

  12. Don’t blame Brad for his behavior. Any guy (including me) that ever played big time sports, the aggressiveness is drilled into you! It’s a must if you want to outplay your opponent!

  13. i hope Rupert does not survive redemption island. cant stand him anymore. Hayden is my fave so far but I hope he doesnt allign with that Dante Culpepper person..he irks me.
Colton is the same ahole he was the last time he did not change..too bad because his boyfriend seems like a nice guy. Oh and Gervase is still a jerk.

  14. Can we get email notification when a new page comes up?

Crazy night, eh? I am certainly hoping for a better couple of months than BB provided. My son, who doesn’t care for any of my reality shows, BB, Survivor, Amazing Race, has already told me he will destroy the TV if it is half as bad as BB had been. He also can’t stand this time of year. But I sit through Hell’s Kitchen for that crazy Gordon Ramsey fan and never say a word.

    • I kinda like Hell’s Kitchen too. The last winner Ja’nelle
(sp) didn’t get her job after failing a drug test? Coke.
I think they are all on drugs of some sort. Why pick on
      blow?

  15. Breakdown on ………….
    Name (Age): Aras Baskauskas (31)
    Tribe Designation: Returning Player
Relationship to Significant Castaway: Vytas’ Brother
Previous Season: Survivor: Panama – Exile Island, winner
    Current Residence: Santa Monica, Calif.
    Occupation: Musician
Why Did You Want to Return to Survivor and Play with Your Loved One? I want to play Survivor with Vytas because I know we’ll have a great shot at winning. More importantly, I know an experience like Survivor will bring us closer together. Early in our lives, we had a very rocky relationship. Taking on adventures as adults gives us the chance to make up for lost time.

    Name (Age): Vytas Baskauskas (33)
    Tribe Designation: Loved Ones
Relationship to Significant Castaway: Aras’ Brother
    Current Residence: Santa Monica, Calif.
    Occupation: Yoga Instructor/Math Professor
Personal Claim to Fame: Beating heroin addiction, yoga discipline and receiving a graduate degree in math.
Inspiration in Life: I don’t have one particular hero. I greatly admire the brilliant scientists and mathematicians of the past and also social activists such as Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr.
Hobbies: Movies, music, good food, bodysurfing and chess.
    Pet Peeves: Stupidity and show-offs.
3 Words to Describe You: Smart, strong-willed and unique.
If You Could Have 3 Things on The Island What Would They Be and Why? 1) iPod – love music. 2) Yoga mat – practice every day to keep the body & mind right. 3) Chess set – it’s not just a game, it’s a way of life.
SURVIVOR Contestant You Are Most Like: The intellect and wit of Jonathan Penner, the likability of Aras Baskauskas and the flirtatiousness of Parvati Shallow.
Reason for Being on SURVIVOR: I want to be on the show for the experience. I truly believe I can outwit, outplay and outlast. Of course I also want the prize.
Why You Think You’ll “Survive” SURVIVOR: I have the necessary elements to make it to the end. I’m strong minded, smart and cunning. Through my addiction, I learned to easily manipulate people and although I don’t use that skill as much anymore, it is still there.
Why You Think You Will Be the Sole SURVIVOR: I am very assertive. It is unlike me to not get what I want. I am also smart and sociable so my people skills will do me well. I have a good social awareness. My personality is unique and although I may not be the most-liked, that’s not such a bad thing in getting to the end.
What Does It Mean to You to Play Survivor with Your Loved One? Playing with Aras means the world to me. Our relationship hasn’t always been the best, but over the past few years, it has definitely begun to improve. I love my brother very much and this experience will surely bring us closer together. That being said, there can only be ONE sole survivor. Aras and I have been competing with each other in almost every way since he was born. This will be the ultimate competition. Whether I win the game or not, I desperately want to beat my brother!

  16. I remember years ago being so happy survivor was back I told my bf “I just missed the sound of Jeff’s voice”. After slogging thru this summer of bb, I finally am excited again!!

My love for Rupert has waned a bit each time he has played. It would be interesting to see if he can pull off a redemption island run… until he’s out there with his wife. She may last longer than Gervis (seriously, 13 years and you still can’t swim??? And you had nothing to be whooping and celebrating about, the gals on the puzzle saved your arse, it wasn’t your effort for sure!!), but doubtful much longer. I personally thought it would have been ironic if Katie went first since Tina went out first in all stars. :-)

Colton has the mouth of Amanda, the snobbish attitude of Elisa, and the racial tolerance of Aryan.. and the crown up version of Andy’s wardrobe.

Can’t wait to see the first truel!

Don’t the losers of the truel get to pick who to give the idol to? Something along those lines anyways. Not sure how secret that will be then. At least it’s not the same old same old!

  17. Thanks, ö¿ö, what the hell are those sequences?lol I’ll have to go back and reread your instructions, it’s been a loooong day for me.. The season opener was a doozy! Think it’s gonna be very interesting, but I don’t see any improvement w/ Colton, SOAH as before. Rupert’s getting on my nerves already, too, and I did like him in the past (better than Tarzan/Troyzan). Enough of the summer lazies already, Him just laying around reminded me of the bb15 slugs! And then there’s Gervais PLease! Enough already. In general, a hell of a lot more likeable contestants than bb, for sure, but I’m already calling out the lazies, and the floaters (know who I’ m “talking about”? We’ll have to see if maybe they were overwhelmed the first day and they get back to their “real world” Not sure about RI yet, I didn’t like it in the past, but their using it differently so far. Might make it interesting
So, does this site have a blogger put up a new post frequently? putting my email address hasn’t prompted anything, but I’m a newbie, maybe there’s somewhere I’m missing to sign myself up. Is Lisa Marie the blogger here, too? I know if she is, it will be awesome. If I had the tech. know-how, I’d try my hand at it. I took a lot of creative writing and psych/soc classes at, of all places, DeVry Tech (aka DeVry University) But being new, I’m happy to get hooked up w/ “you guys” – all of you. so please, keep me posted : lizgilmore0@gmail.com (hopefully that won’t send me s bunch of spam, please don’t “sell” my address)HEHEHE

  18. Welcome back Bloggergal! Happy to see you again. We love our blogger folks! Thank you so much!
Haven’t had a chance to watch Survivor yet due to company. Love all the posts and so sad Colton hasn’t changed a lick. His nasty self is still the same apparently and as far as Gervais, he was a lazy player as I recall. Seems that hasn’t changed either. Ok, now hopefully, my first moderation will be over. Hey everyone!

    • Yeah what Starfish said!! I gotta make it to your house for that glass of wine and a night of Survivor. I’m going to San Clemente Saturday for my cousins baby shower. That’s 1/2 wat there!

    • @ Starfish…you were moderated? Girl, you’ve been around so long too. I guess if I think back, I was in moderation for a bit too. Glad it’s all back to normal and we can see our posts right away.

@Jane…when you get to SF’s house, have a drink for me, eh?

    • Jane, where will you be? Can we meet up for a wine or coffee at my house or anywhere? I’m buying. Would love to. We can have one or three for Holly, Fran and Betty. Do you have my number? Are you driving? Then maybe something else.

No I wasn’t moderated but since it said the first post would be moderated I thought that even meant us oldies. lol

    • Lol at Rupert. Seems like a good guy but brain-dead. I hope
his wife Laura goes a long way. She’s got some game in her.

  19. About Gervase – I think the big mouth was just so relieved his team won, because they may well have voted him out if they hadn’t. Can’t believe he still can’t swim.

Anyone going on survivor should learn and practice starting a fire – that seems obvious – I’m thinking the “loved ones” must have just assumed the veterans would take care of those kinds of things.

I like the Redemption Island bit. It’s like a third little tribe to follow.

    Looking forward to next week!

    • I think Gervase knows how to swim, but he had absolutely no stamina.

Your observations re: Fire are spot on. Going on Survivor and not knowing how to start fire is like going on the Amazing Race and not knowing how to drive a stick shift.

I’m not wild about RI, but this time it might be interesting.

    • It worked Elizabeth… I think there is a time delay thing. Or moderation going on for new people and of course a certain lady in Chicago, one in SoCal (make that 2) and one in Big Mo… to make sure they behave.

      Welcome!

    • Sorry Ted, I wasn’t moderated at all! It was only for “newbies” as I realized after my first post! Is that coffee hot; did it burn your tongue?

      Welcome Elizabeth!

  20. Colton Colton Colton cries like a cat in heat! I think this is going to be a good season! Ted where the heck are ya so we can talk Survivor?? I’m gonna go l

  21. Well, I see some of my peeps have been talking shit about me up above! Some people do work for a living and don’t lay about on their couch in SoCal watching television or at some Midwest bank sitting there handing out money.

I am super busy and haven’t had a chance to help support my friend Caroline with her blog… Here is what I said to my BBF in Chicago yesterday…

You know, I agree, Aggie. I loved Rupert the first time he played, but he became a caricature of himself. He is a hambone. I thought I would like his wife more, and maybe I’m being as unfair as the people who voted her out… I think they did it as perceiving her a weak player for challenges more than Rupet’s wife. I didn’t have feelings one way or the other for Gervase, but anyone who would go on Survivor a second time in such poor physical shape, you have to wonder about. His display at the win only bothered me because he had done absolutely nothing but hinder his tribe. I hated to see Candace get put on RI and only hope Rupert goes quick so we don’t have to watch him cry. I hate it when they do all the ‘tugging at heartstrings’ pieces. I think Culpepper is a jerk. I really like Hayden and think he is so much better on Survivor than BB, but that did give him experience and helped him mature. He is pretty funny. I liked Aras brother Vytas. Liked a lot Caleb and hope Colton goes soon. Had a scare at first when Sexy Laura from Hawaii was getting votes. I am now in love with Rachel (Tyson’s girlfriend and my pick in our pool)… and of course Kat.

I will be back tomorrow when I get a chance, but I wanted my BBF near Detroit to know I cared. Nice to see my friends back, and some new ones and some from BBB.

  22. Hi all! Although I said I was not a fan of Survivor, I was a fan of the of the Big Brother Blog and met some nice people there. So, here I am again. Don’t know if i’ll watch the show on a regular basis, but I’ll be reading what you guys say and may pop in once in a while.

  23. Finally watched the show. Good grief could Colton cry any more? I too hope he goes soon. In fact, I couldn’t believe he wasn’t voted out right off the bat. Gervace still can’t swim? What a slug and too much celebration for nearly losing it for his tribe. He put Marrissa in Redemption Island.

Candace is working hard and Rupert is doing what he learned not to do before and that’s expel all his energy. I do think he made a mistake changing places with his wife but he’s a tough cookie. The comp will be interesting. I doubt Marrissa has a chance. I liked the brothers. Culpepper needs to reign it in a bit because he’ll be a target when and if they get all the girls out. Too much right out of the gate.

The show was great and looking forward to next week. Thanks BBloggergal for the great beginning.

    • Starfish I’m gonna call you later today when closer to your house! I’m leaving Long Beach at about 10am.

    • I don’t think Brad can rein it in, Trudy. Like Snake said about sports = he’s an attorney. And that’s not a knock on attorneys, but the kind with ads on TV sounding like car salesmen are different and his ego will lead over common sense. I also think he is being edited that way too. He won’t last long if he makes it to the merge.

Excellent point about Rupert resting. I feel bad for Marrissa, if Gervase was the reason… that was unfortunate. Usually the first vote is for someone really annoying… like Francesca first in both her seasons. I would like to think it wasn’t a race thing with either of them, I just think Francesca was a loner and not real nice. I hope the girls beat Rupert. I do think he swapped with his wife to let her get to play… he is a nice guy. He will never recapture his glory of his first season… that’s hard to do and few returnees can.

    • Great Jane, looking forward to it. Dana Point borders San Clemente and San Clemente is south of DP.

    • Ted, we’re trying to hook up today but it didn’t happen. So now I’m going to go to Long Beach one day to see her cute self. She’s only about 40 minutes from me depending on traffic. She was headed my way today but things just didn’t happen. I’ll let you know when and what time to mark your calendar so you know exactly where we are that day. :D hee hee

  24. The newbies couldn’t make fire? Puleeze. Puts the show to shame.
As someone said earlier just google it and practice. My local plant store
sells bamboo lengths and other exotic plants. Guess it’s not that big of a deal
now that they get a flint after a few days.
Fire is life and Survivor is giving it away too soon.

    • I agree, they didn’t used to give it away that soon. Maybe their ineptitude in that area is close to causing a health problem. Hard to believe that out of the 9 there that one of them wouldn’t know how to do it.

  25. Great to see your blog again! So sorry for my delayed resonse but just changed my work schedule and still adapting.
That said, I’ll always have time to fit on my all time favorite reality show “Survivor”
like many of the other posters I was growing weary if the Andy Show aka Big Brother, anyone who didn’t see him winning must have never seen the show.
Now on to the real show!! Rupert? Glad to see ya but I think he made a fatal mistake and is not long for the game.Candace is a real player and will be sending Rupert packing this week. Unless Marissa falls behind them both and saves him for the next time that is.
Being from the Tampa area the “Culpeppers” have been the talk of the town on the local CBS news and talk shows. they have aired several interviews with the two of them and I could tell you by the hints they dropped that neither will make it to the end. Brad was a hell of a defensive lineman for the Buccaneers in his day and has since moved into practice and a heavily advertised trial lawyer. Those kind of ads always scare me away so I have no idea how well his firm is doing. His demeanor will be his demise.
Colton? OMG! I can’t beleive they asked him back? Lets hope he has another medivac outing before he gets flat out eliminated. His other half will have a better chance of making the merge as he seems the quiet yet capable player.
in my opinion Aras seems destined to take the big money home again, should be an interesting season!! Thanks again for the avenue to vent, until next week, BucBert

  26. The whole Rupert thing has run its course for me. Couldn’t care less
about him. His wife however is another story. I hope the returning players
give her a chance. She obviously loves her big dud but that doesn’t mean
she is like him. In the small bits I’ve seen about Laura I think she’s smarter
than her hubby and has the right stuff to go a ways in this season.
    Good couple

    • I agree Shayne, Laura looks like she’s ready to play. I guess we’ll find out if she’s got what it takes. Looking forward to tomorrow.

    • Wow. Pretty intense. Seems to put them at the mercy of BB and all their production people. Makes it seem a little harder in terms of being a house guest. Thanks for the information. I love the stuff you post.

      Thanks

  27. I’ve watch Bold n Beautiful for years though it comes on here about one a.m. or later….lately i’ve gotten bored with where the story has gone…not the same without the elder Stephanie…..but if Howard’s going to be on there I don’t want to miss that.

    • That would be hard on his wife LM but I agree. We’ll see if Marissa has game and that will be the difference to me. I hope Candace wins and enters the game. She’s in such good shape and I hope whoever gets her, appreciates the value she can bring to their team.

    • You nailed it LM. It’s important to listen to that little “feeling” nudging at you about things. :) Rupert went out with class though.

  28. How about the twist of switching with the person sent to RI? and John better find the HII! I’m still wondering why no one looked for the HII before the clue, especially the vets!

    • Morning Jane…I don’t like that trading places stuff either. It’s like they are given too many chances to remain in the game. I hope that changes soon, or we may be looking at a horrible season of Survivor also.

    • Hi Ladies & Sal: I’m not sure I like the twist either. It’s not helping John that’s for sure. He’s not thinking about winning a million bucks but instead he’s thinking about keeping his wife safe. Dumb move IMO. Yep, he better find the HII soon. As for Colton, he’s a jerk and it looked like he wanted to leave the game. Sure hope so.
