Me, Tarzan …… You, Jane!

Jane became the “Queen of the Jungle” on day 1. This little country lady had a fire going within 30 minutes of getting to camp. She looks very resourceful for someone who, excuse the expression, sounds like a “hick”.

She proved herself worthy to be in the game, however, does this make her a target or do you try to keep her on your team? What are the plus and minuses for her in the game?

OK y’all …… it’s wanna be Survivor game time. CBS has kindly given us a copy of the HII clue found on the rain barrel. Just how good of a player are you? Can you solve the clue? Does it lead to the idol or possibly only to another clue? Ok, here is the clue! Get solving!

I wonder if Russell would have been able to solve this one?

i dunno. i don’t even know what some of the symbols are. and no i don’t think russ could find it with just that clue. it’s harder this time. not just ‘beneath a willow tree on a hill or something like that lol.

  2. tendr says:

remember russ isn’t in THIS one.

  3. tendr says:

sorry, but i do think Jane should stick around.

  4. yed I do to she might be a hick but I bet she knows how to survive on the show better than a lot of them.

  5. DonnaP says:

I have no clue how to solve that…not that smart.

  6. ted says:

Jane will be around a while… we have all said ‘I’d never go on Survivor without knowing how to make fire’, right? Even Betty could probably do it! Well, maybe…

The holder of the clues will have to be very observant. I don’t think the girls are up to the task… but, who knows? I think Russell could have done it.

    Hey Mike… how you feeling?

is the idol for both groups in the same type of spot? do they get the same clues?

  8. Terry says:

Think I will have to see one more show before I can even begin to decifer these clues. Meanwhile will give me something to think about
    instead of Big Brother.
Yes I think tribe should keep Jane for awhile. She might be stronger
and smarter than the young hotties on the other tribe.

Hi yall! well – iwatched survivor – was a little flat – i thought – i guess you need to get more invested in the personalities – what’d yall think?

  10. Betty says:

Gee Ted if Jane could make fire why can’t you? Weren’t you ever a Boy Scout? I can imagine just how cute you looked in your uniform!

Have to rush off – poker night, might stop back later.

  11. I need a bigger pic. Is that a Crossbones over a cave or a mound? Is that E-V, J-X, H-? What is to the right of the Pirate ship? Then the sun rising over the water. And lastly a tree with a person standing in front of it? I have no  We need Russell for this one. 8)

  12. Cynthia says:

Hey everybody. Yeah I agree…need bigger picture, can’t make out the symbols. Unfortunately I missed the first show. I wonder if they show episodes on CBS? Guess I’ll have to sneak in on my brother’s computer one day & check it out.

Snake as usual, you are doing a most excellent job with the blog. Good to “see” everyone here.

  14. Sorry Ted for not answering you it didnt E-Mail me like the other blogs do, Ifeel as good as I ever do. I am not good at clues but will look at it again .

  15. Betty says:

    Clue

    X marks the place

    V – etc – find puzzel (idol)

    Ship/shore maybe where they landed

    Sun going down (under)

    Tree shaped like man

Really tough, best I could come up with!, but makes no sense, but maybe a small part of it is right and somewhat else can add too it!

AC you’re right we do need Russell to solve this one!

  16. Betty says:

Okay, here is my final take on the meaning of the clue:

The place to solve this puzzel is to go back where you were dropped off from the ship. Look for a tree shaped like a man, look under it or in a hollowed out part of the tree. Come on people, am I the only one trying to figure this out?

    OK, some ideas
    1) crossbones is x marks the spot/there are some stick #’s in the cave
    2) ……………..working on this one
    3) ships mast + arm
    4) sunrise
    5) stand under tree

  18. Betty says:

Snakebit there must be something to the E =V, etc. Maybe carved on trees around camp? Beats me, but its fun to try and figure it out. The ship mast and arm might stand for yardarm. (Thanks for telling me it was an arm). Do you know if there is a ship wreck where they are. Maybe if they climb the yardarm they can see the tree or make sense of the equation.

    Great Blog. Thank you!

  19. Rad says:

E = V; E is the fifth letter of the alphabet
J = X; J is the tenth letter of the alphabet
H = VIII; H is the eighth letter of the alphabet

  20. Rad says:

the tree with the person in front of it is tree mail.

  21. Rad says:

The crossbones over the cave with the eight marks in it = excavate!

    Therefore… excavate + 8 + yards + towards the sunset + from tree mail.

    What do you think?

  22. tammy says:

the sun sets in the west in Nicarauga. So they need to dig 8 yards west of tree mail.
